Zooma Green Gives donated 2 recycled Chromebooks to a small business owner, West Town Jewelry and Loan http://www.goldbuyersinchicago.com/ to replace his children’s laptops that were looted during the social unrest following the death of George Floyd in August of 2020.

My name is Gabe Coconate, and I own West Town Jewelry & loan at 2059 W. Chicago Ave. My store was burglarized on 08/10/20 by looters during the second riots in Chicago. For my store it was the second time this happened to us unfortunately. They smashed the windows and came in with hammers and crushed the bullet proof glass. The looters smashed up the place and took what they could until police arrived. Besides coins and jewelry the looters took my kids chrome books that they needed for their school. Mike Schultz from Zooma Green found out what happened and called me to see if we were ok and was very concerned. Mike and the team showed up about a week later and gave my kids two chrome books for their e-learning. Mike was so generous and was really caring. My wife and I were so grateful that we just cried as our world was falling apart financially and mentally. I just wanted to thank them for their generosity and becoming friends of our family.
